The ET Boys are two Latino brothers, TACBOY and Sharkeyes, who exploded on the Nu Pop scene last summer (2021) with their single, “Sober.” The brothers were born in Chicago and raised in South Florida. They were immersed in music throughout their lives through their mother, House vocalist, Pepper Gomez. She ensured formal studies of piano, guitar and drums. The ET Boys started performing in grade school. What the brothers create as a duo is their own unique sound which has been described with various genre influences including melodic rap but is best described as the ET Boys Nu Pop sound.
TACBOY has had quite a productive past couple of years in the arts. From a supporting role in a movie (set to release in this year “Buried Onions”), to his first Nu House music release with Pepper Gomez (“Oh My Heart” – closing in on 250K streams), followed by ET Boys releases (“Sober”, “Long Night”, “Something Love”, “Nowhere”, “Rain or Sunshine”, “TIOD”, “Poison Lipstick” – all lyrics and vocals) with ET Boys first album Forever Night, also starring in ET Boys incredible music videos “Sober” and “Long Night” by Domonick G, collaboration on another great anthem track with Rude Minor “Not Around”, followed by collab with Carpente / Ken Carpenter and Pepper called “Libertad”, and a new house track just released called I’m in Love (with your body) with DJ Xtee Kilo Mokgari, the TACBOY has been busy. Currently in New York City as an IMG Model, he continues to create even as in the midst of all that he is learning all about the business of Wake Up! Music and Wake Up! Music Rocks from the ground up. Clearly “Up!” is the operative word as we all watch Tacboy and the ET Boys!
SHARKEYES - The guy behind the masks is Sharkeyes. He is responsible for all the music by The ET Boys. All of it. Affectionately called Sharkeyes Johnson by the other half of the duo, his brother Tacboy, because his eyes are so black, the siblings grew up in a home where they were expected to learn an instrument. Sharkeyes excelled at classical piano and keyboards. As a child, he taught himself the ocarina and recorder. He added drums, via formal lessons, to the list and at age 14 he was invited to join his drum teacher’s band. Sharkeyes is a proud owner of a vintage PanArt hang drum and multiple ethnic percussion instruments. Sharkeyes began composing and producing tunes for the ET Boys while in college and sent them to Tacboy.
